The Farmers and Merchants Bank Building was built in 1904. It was the first Bank built in “ New Crescent “ when the town moved. Arno Beyer a German immigrant became the first president of the bank. 

The second story housed the Crescent Masonic Lodge #11 and Crescent Odd Fellows Lodge #10. In 1926 the Bank was Robbed hostages were taken but no one was hurt. 

The Crescent First United Methodist Church was established in 1889 in the old town know as (Crescent city) located off Broadway. . 

The church built a brand new Building in 1905 when the town moved which is pictured here
